How to invest
Similarly to any UK listed public limited company (PLC), investment trust shares are traded openly in the stock market which means there is more than one way to purchase them.
Open market
You can purchase shares through a market broker, either on the high street or online. To find out how to purchase shares on the open market, contact your usual broker.
ISA transfer
Alternatively, you can enjoy the tax benefits that come through investing in an ISA. You can invest up to £7,200 through our Stocks & Shares ISA. You can also transfer your existing ISA investment to us without any loss of tax status.
Savings scheme
If tax efficiency isn’t an issue or you have already invested in an ISA during the current tax year, invest through our savings scheme and enjoy the potential returns from your investment without putting all your eggs in one basket.
Our flexible benefits
- Invest for income, growth or a combination of both
- Invest a lump sum from £500 or monthly from only £50 per month
- Withdraw £250 or more at any time and with no additional charge
Charges
- 1.25% initial charge

Investment trusts incur costs for the management and administration of their portfolios - these costs are paid directly by the trusts from their assets. 3% commission will normally be payable if you invest through a financial adviser. Please read the Investment Trust Key Features and Terms and Conditions for more details on charges and how they might affect your investment.
